In early 2022 I was required to take some vacation (I know, poor me) therefore my calendar suddenly freed up and I was able to visit Costa Rica for the first time.  While there I explored the Volcano Arenal, the area of Fortuna and then enjoyed the west coast around Samara.  I spent an amazing few days in the rainforest where I had a private tour of a coffee field and tours of the animals in the rainforest.  I had a glorious day laying in a hammock listening to the rain fall while reading a new book.  I was lucky enough to take some amazing photographs of the natural beauty I saw all around. I then moved to the west coast where the warm Pacific Ocean and hot sandy beaches greeted me for a few day.  Here I enjoyed nightly sunsets that left me breathless.  My trip to Costa Rica was relaxing but a unique vacation.
